The map still has to fit in a rectangle, they can't make the Lustria continent going much farther south and leave empty space below the old world so they would have to put the lands there as well. You are nitpicking on unimportant things. Really what exactly is there in Naggaroth besides Malekith? You want him to have even more easily conquerable territory as AI and have to slog fighting other dark elves for 100 turns when you play him? Basically whenever you cut your corner of the map you can actually start fighting the real fight and move and take on other factions, not much interesting stuff happens there. Like for real.do we need THAT much badlands in the south? Did we really need ALL of Norsca? Like wouldn't having more of Lustria and Naggaroth be more interesting?
